Day 4 Las Vegas NBA Summer League Box Scores: 

Below are Day 4 Box Scores of the Las Vegas NBA Summer League.  Games played in Las Vegas on 07-14-2015.  Enjoy.

PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS VS. SAN ANTONIO SPURS

The San Antonio Spurs (2-1) defeated the Portland Trail Blazers (1-2) 79-75  at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Both teams shot terrible from three-point range, but the Spurs hit a few more free throws than the Blazers that prove to be the difference in the game.  San Antonio was led by Kyle Anderson’s 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists performance.  Jarrell Eddie chipped in 16 points 5 rebounds in the win over the Blazers.  Noah Vonleh led the way for the Trail Blazers with 20 points 8 rebounds.

WASHINGTON WIZARDS VS. DALLAS MAVERICKS

The Washington Wizards (1-2) defeated the Dallas Mavericks (0-3) by a final score of 85-79.  The Wizards used a plus 19 rebounding advantage 48-29 to defeat the Mavs despite shooting 15.4% from the three-point line and 58.6% from the free throw line.  Kelly Oubre Jr. finished the game with 11 points, 6 rebounds in the win.  Jeremy Tyler and Justin Anderson each scored 15 points for the Mavericks in the loss.

BROOKLYN NETS VS. CHICAGO BULLS. 

The Brooklyn Nets (2-1) defeated the Chicago Bulls (1-2) 87-86.  Although the Bulls shot a better percentage from the field and three-point range, the Nets were still able to the narrow victory by shooting 28 free throws compared to the Bulls 14.  Ryan Boatright led all scorers with 21 points. Rondae Hollis Jefferson finished with 10 points 6 rebounds in the Nets win.  Doug McDermott scored 19 points for the Bulls in the loss.

NEW YORK KNICKS VS. PHILADELPHIA 76ERS

The New York Knicks (3-0) defeated the Philadelphia 76ers (0-3) 84-81 last night in the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Maurice Ndour had a nice 23 point 6 rebound game in the win. Number 4th overall 2015 NBA Draft pick Kristaps Porzingis finished with 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.  Scotty Wilbekin led the way for the 76ers with 26 points. Former Duke Blue-Devil center Jahlil Okafor had 18 points 6 rebounds in 30 minutes of play.

MIAMI HEAT VS. BOSTON CELTICS

The Boston Celtics (3-0) destroyed the Miami Heat (1-2) 101-69 behind PG Marcus Thornton’s 21 points.  Thornton was aggressive getting to the free-throw line. He went 9-9 for 100% from the charity stripe.  Terry Rozier had 7 points, and 7 assists in the win for the Celtics.  Justise Winslow played on 10 mins and finished 1 of 5 for 5 points in the loss to the Celtics.

UTAH JAZZ VS. PHOENIX SUNS

The Phoenix Suns (2-1) defeated the Utah Jazz (1-2) 91 – 75.  Former Kentucky Wildcat Guard Devin Booker had an impressive game finishing with 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.  Alex Len pulled down 14 rebounds in the win, while the Suns shot 45% on 9 of 20 from behind the arch. Utah’s Trey Lyles had 10 points and 4 rebounds in 21 mins of play in the loss to Phoenix.
