Duke Preseason Basketball Favorite to win ACC

The Duke Blue Devils will enter the new 15 team ACC basketball conference as the 2014- 2015 preseason favorite.  After receiving 41 of the 65 first place votes, this will mark the 15th time in the schools history they were picked to win the ACC conference.  North Carolina is picked 2nd and received 12 first placed votes.  New member Louisville Cardinals are entering their first year of ACC play received 3 first place votes and are picked to finish 3rd in the conference. The regular season will begin for all ACC schools on the weekend of November 14-16, 2014. Below are the full results from the ACC media day.
