Deja Vu hit again last night. For the 2nd time this season the 17th ranked Kentucky Wildcats loss to unranked Arkansas in Overtime. The 71-67 OT loss probably puts the young Wildcats into a 5 -6 seed come tourney time. Cal was quoted as saying “we took a big step back” and also stated he had a bunch of no shows he should have benched in the 2nd half. 18 Turnovers, 10 missed Free Throws, and poor three point shooting caused this team to lose this must win game. The Wildcats record falls to 21-7 only 1 game better than last year’s NIT season under Cal. Who would of thought that? Arkansas on the other hand is probably off the bubble with the sweep against Kentucky. Next game for Kentucky is a early Saturday game @ South Carolina. Lose there and the season could fall completely apart for Calipari’s young Wildcats.
