Kevin Durant wins first league MVP.

The NBA announced it’s Most Valuable Player as Kevin Durant.  This is the first time in Durant’s career he has been named the MVP of the NBA. KD also led the league in scoring this season with a 32 point average per game.  He also had a career high in averaged assists at 5.5 per game.  What Durant needs to do now is lead is team to the NBA Finals.  Yesterday the Clippers came into the Thunders home and blew them off the floor with a 17 points beat down. Wednesday night when Durant receives the MVP trophy he should light a fire under him to play like the MVP of the league. Durant joins Michael Jordan, Elgin Baylor and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players in the league to average at least 32 points, 7 rebs, and 5 assists.   Check some highlights.
