On Friday July 11, 2014 Lebron James announced his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a well written essay article posted via http://www.si.com/nba/2014/07/11/lebron-james-cleveland-cavaliers

Fans of the blog, friends, and family members all wanted to know what my thoughts were about Lebron returning home to Cleveland.  I calmly provided this point of view with all that I came in contact with over this past weekend.  I absolutely love the decision.  Here’s why – King James is writing his own Legacy for the history books in the way he wants his story told to the generations after he’s finished with the game of basketball. Nothing more Nothing less.  I always respected Lebron as a person after I saw the documentary More than a Game. In the documentary he displayed to me his loyalty to family and friends, his heart as a person, and his passion for the game of basketball.   Although many people were upset about his decision to leave Cleveland 4 years ago, I was cool with that decision too, because in my heart I felt Lebron was being genuine.   In my mind Lebron was a good person and he was making a decision that was best for he and his family. Who cares about the Not 1, Not 2 statement?  Did we care when Babe Ruth predicted where he would hit his homeruns when he was up for bat? Did we care when Muhammad Ali predicted what round he would knock an opponent out?  Although Lebron didn’t  win all 4 championships at Miami, he still went to 4 straights Finals and came out with 2 rings. That’s amazing stuff. I understand what Jordan, Barkley, Bird, and Magic are saying when they talk about how Lebron should have never left, but none of them experienced the pressure that’s been put on this young man since he was stamped as the Chosen One coming out of High School.  I tweeted this after the decision Lebron made on 07/11 to return to Cleveland. “All the old school ballers want Lebron to do it their way but Is doing it his way”. Much Respect Bron Bron  I meant that.  Who knows what the future holds for Lebron and Cleveland as far as Championships go, but I do predict that Lebron James will work hard to bring the City of Cleveland Not 1, Not 2, but 3 titles before it’s all said and done.  Why? He deserves it, that’s why..  Good Luck Lebron I’m rooting for you, and much respect on your decision to return home to Cleveland.  Celebrate Cleveland, He’s coming home.
