American League Previews #2: AL Central Division

By: Trent A. Brinkley         February 20, 2015. Louisville, KY. (Analyzed Sports)

In the next series of the 2015 American League Breakdown Series I preview the AL Central Division. Last season, the Detroit Tigers were the regular-season championships with a record of (90-72), coming in a close second place were the Kansas City Royals (89-73), who clinched the Wild Card slot. The Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, and Minnesota Twins, rounded out the AL Central Division finishing 3rd, 4th, and 5th place, not making it into the playoffs. The Detroit Tigers made it to the American League Divisional Series before getting swept by the Baltimore Orioles (3-0), losing the last game at home in a pitching duel between Bud Norris (Orioles) vs David Price (Tigers), where the Tigers lost 1-2. The Kansas City Royals on the other hand, made it to the World Series, but lost in Game 7, by the score of (3-4) to the San Francisco Giants, seen in the video at the end of this paragraph. The 2015 MLB Season is approaching, and AL Central looks to have another competitive year, who do I think will win the division?, well, you just have to read my breakdown to see who I think will win the AL Central Division. If you missed the AL East Division Breakdown, the link will be at the bottom of the article.
