Sunday night was a great Super Bowl between the New England Patriots vs the Seattle Seahawks. Both teams played extremely well, and the Patriots came out on top 28-24 in the game. Congrats to the New England Patriots on winning the Super Bowl, and congrats to the Seattle Seahawks, on a great season. This piece 49 Takeaways from Super Bowl XLIX, shows what I think were some of the takeaways from the game, some interesting stats from and about the game, and a lot more. Following each takeaway is a photo from the Super Bowl that happened with that Roman Numeral. Let me know what you think of this piece by leaving a comment below, or tweet me @TrentA_Brinkley.

49 Takeaways from Super Bowl XLIX

I. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are the best QB and Head Coach combination in the NFL, and probably all-time in the NFL. Belichick and Brady have won 4 Super Bowls together.

II. The Seahawks had some injuries in the secondary, despite this, and despite losing Jeremy Lane during the game, they managed to get 2 interceptions off of Tom Brady.

III. The Patriots did a great job of containing Russell Wilson from making plays with his feet outside of the pocket. In fact, Wilson only had 3 carries for 39 yards. In the Seahawks-Packers game, Wilson had 7 carries, and 1 TD.

VI. The match-up I thought was the most important to watch in Super Bowl 49, was the battle of the Tight Ends. Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski, had 6 Catches, while Seahawks TE Luke Wilson, had 0 catches.

VII. In the Seventh RoundPick 232, of the 2009 Draft, the Patriots drafted Julian Edelman, a (5-10, 200lbs) QB from Kent State University. In Super Bowl 49, he had 9 catches, but his biggest catch was the Game-Winning TD with 2:02 left in the game, to give Pats the lead for good at 28-24.
