Although Adrien Broner will be a slight favorite in this fight come Saturday, Porter will be a very difficult opponent for the IBF Welterweight champion. If it wasn’t for the clinching and holding in the Kell Brook fight, Porter will be entering this match-up with an undefeated record. Broner is a winner of his last three and has looked impressive since the embarrassing Marcos Maidana loss. I’ll give the edge to Broner in hand speed and punching power, but Porter is not a slouch that Adrien will be able to toy with. Look for Broner to stay defensive while trying to land some one two combinations and counter shots. Porter who is coming down in weight, will be the aggressor of the two fighters looking to pound Broner, while staying on the offensive. I believe this fight will end up going the distance, so expect it to be a close fight going into the scoring cards. Adrien Broner will win this match in 12 rounds by a close split decision to keep the IBF Light Welterweight title. After this win he should call out Marcos Maidana to try to revenge his only defeat of his career.
