Class of 2016 – Top High-School Recruit Harry Giles
Most of the top high-school basketball talents in the Class of 2015 are signed with colleges, so it’s time to shift the focus to the recruits in the power class of 2016. The Class of 2016 will go down in history as one of the better classes similar to the 2007, 2012, and 2014 class. First on the list is a special basketball talent out of Winston-Salem, NC and the overall top prospect in the country Harry Giles. Giles is a 6″10, 210 pound power-forward who plays his high-school ball for Wesleyan Christian (High Point, NC). Giles is an athletic power forward with a game similar to former Kentucky forward Trey Lyles. Lyles has better footwork around the basket, while Giles is much more athletic with a consistent jump shot. He will end up being a 4 in the NBA, although he can play some 5 in college with his defensive prowess around the rim. Right now eight schools are in the mix for Giles. Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio St, and UNLV are recruiting the Top power-forward in the country in hopes to landing this highly touted prospect.
