Trout vs Luis Grajeda: Austin Trout defeated Luis Grajeda. Trout defeated Grajeda, after Grajeda’s team threw in the towel at the conclusion of the 7th round. Trout picks up his first win since 2011, and clearly out boxed Grajeda. Trout improves to (28-2) with 15 KO’s,  Grajeda falls to (17-4-2) with 13 KO’s. Turning Point: Trout lands a huge combination in the 5th round, puts Grajeda on floor.

Tarver vs Banks: Antonio Tarver defeated Johnathon Banks. Tarver landed some huge punches in the early parts of the 7th round on Banks’s face, which downed Banks after a hard overhead left against the Ropes. Banks tried to battle back despite the physical injuries he had received during the fight. Banks, serves currently as the head trainer for Wladimir Klitschko, who is the current Heavyweight Champion of the World. The referee, Jack Reiss, saw Banks was in trouble, and called off the fight with 2:25 left in the 7th round. Tarver, at 46, improves his record to (31-6) with 22 KO’s now, as Banks, falls to (29-3-1) with 19 KO’s. This is Tarver’s first win in the ring since he defeated Mike Sheppard in November of 2013.

Gausha vs Vila: After being a 2012 U.S. Olympian boxer, Terrell Gausha, now a middleweight prospect, had a huge toe-to-toe fight with Cesar Vila, that came to the wire in the 8th and final round. Gausha and Vila traded punches all night, and fans were glued to their seats to see an amazing fight. Gausha, at the :46 mark left in the 8th round, made his run, landed a huge 4-punch combo that KO Vila who landed flat in the right with his arms stretched. Vila regained conciousness quickly, but the referee, Jack Reiss, immeditaely waved off the fight after Vila was KO on the floor without a count seen below. I expect Gausha to have a great career who improved his record to (13-0) with 7 KOs, and Vila fell to (7-2) with 3 KOs.
